Rapid HBsAg Test Strip

1. Product Introduction

Rapid HBsAg Test is an immunochromatography assay for the qualitative detection
of Hepatitis B virus surface antigen (HBsAg) in human serum, plasma or whole blood specimen.

Tests for hepatitis B surface antigen are used in the diagnosis of hepatitis B and in testing blood products for infectivity. If it is
found, along with specific antibodies, it means the person has a hepatitis B infection. HBsAg is the most common hepatitis B test. The presence of HBsAg in serum indicates that the patient has contracted HBV infection.

HBsAg is cleared within 4 to 6 months in self-limited infections. It can be detected in the blood during both acute infections and chronic infections. In addition to the signs and symptoms
that a patient has, additional antibodies can be tested to distinguish between acute and chronic infections.
