HMG is a natural gonadotropin secreted by the adenohypophysial gland in human body. It mainly plays the role of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), which can promote the development and maturation of ovarian follicles and promote the secretion of estrogen by ovarian follicles, thus causing endometrial hyperplasia in women. Combined with Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG) can promote ovulation and luteal formation, secretion of progesterone.

 

 

Human menopausal gonadotrophin (HMG) is a hormone therapy used to induce ovulation in women who are having difficulty conceiving due to infertility. It is composed of two hormones, FSH and LH, which are naturally produced by the pituitary gland. These hormones stimulate the ovaries to produce eggs and prepare the womb for implantation. HMG is prescribed as a course of injections and is typically used for several weeks leading up to ovulation.
